First acts for Longitude 2017 just announced!

Longitude returns to Marlay Park this summer from Friday July 14th to Sunday July 16th. The first round of acts are as follows.

Stormzy will headline Friday night at Longitude. 2016 saw Stormzy transform into one of the biggest male solo acts on the planet. ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ his blistering UK No.1 debut album, has already been declared as record of the year by many critics. Stormzy will bring his incendiary live show to Marlay Park on Friday night.

On Saturday 15thThe Weeknd leads the line up. His fourth full-length album Starboy shattered records across the world on its release, setting new all-time Spotify World Records for “The Most Streamed Artist in a Single Day” with over 40 million streams and “The Most Streamed Album First Week” globally. Dominating charts around the globe, the album captured the #1 spot in 90 countries on iTunes in its first week.

Mumford & Sons will take to the main stage as Sunday night headliners. The Grammy Award winners will be bringing their Gentlemen of the Road Stopover to Marlay Park, presenting their personally curated Sunday line up of some of today’s biggest new bands, before bringing the night to a close with an unmissable headline performance.

The Friday 14th headliner will be announced next week.

Joining The Weeknd and Mumford & Sons are 2016 Mercury Prize winner Skepta, breakout stars of last year Picture This, Brit Award winners Catfish & The Bottlemen, UK singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jack Garratt, festival favorite Kaytranada returns to Longitude, Indie rockers Glass Animals, rap star Mac Miller, Icelandic rock band Kaleo, MC, producer and DJ Wiley,  dream pop sensation Dua Lipa, German folk group Milky ChanceTom Misch returns to Ireland following his sold out Workman’s Club show, London hip hop act Loyle Carner, folk musician Lucy Rose, Afro-Western group The Very Best, new soul star Jorja Smith, French duo Her, solo singer Raye, Senegalese singer and guitarist Baaba Maal and teen prodigy Rex Orange County.
