Thank you for welcoming us to Marlay Park this summer. We hope the plans we implement will help minimise the disruption. Please do try to avoid the areas listed below and use alternative routes. We thank you for you continued support and cooperation

NOISE

We have an acoustic consultant who is monitoring noise levels onsite and offsite to ensure compliance with the set licence conditions.

The Licensed limit (under the Planning and Development Act 2000) is 72dba. The HSE’s Environmental Health Officers are also onsite during the events monitoring noise levels and liaising with the acoustic consultant
There will be sound checks before each show starting no earlier than 10:00 and lasting no longer than 1 hour 30 minutes in total duration

WASTE

We have a dedicated offsite waste management team who pay a particular interest to the residential areas surrounding Marlay Park and liaise with Zone Managers.

These teams will be litter picking throughout the duration of the concerts If you feel some areas are being overlooked, please contact our Resident’s Hotline and we will make the Zone Managers aware.

TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PLAN

Road Closure from 10pm

Taylors Lane, from Grange Road to Whitechurch Road, closed. Open to one way traffic for those turning right off Grange Road in contra flow system to facilitate for stacking of concert buses.

Road Closures from 10.30pm


Grange Road, from Taylors Lane to Ballinteer Ave / Brehonfield Road, closed. (no vehicles will be permitted to leave estates / Lidl)

Stonemasons Way closed from Grange Road to Broadford Road roundabout.

College Road, from Whitechurch Road to Grange Road closed, to facilitate for car / coach park exit.

Grange Road, from Taylors Lane to Sarah Curran / Barton Rd, closed.

These closure times are at the discretion of An Garda Síochána and are subject to some change. An Garda Síochána will endeavour to keep all road closures as short as possible.

Please note that during these road closures access will be maintained at all times for emergency vehicles.

COACH SHUTTLE SERVICES

The public will arrive to Marlay Park in cars, via public transport and private coach services.

Shuttle services will be running between the Dundrum Luas and Stonemasons Way, near the Grange Rd pedestrian entrance.

The City Centre shuttle service runs from Custom House Quay to the festival site, and buses will drop off and pick up in the events’ Coach Park in the College Road car park.

PICK UP & DROP OFF

Pick up and drop off will Attendees getting picked up by family and friends following the event are advised that road closures are in place on the roads surrounding Marlay Park.

Parking enforcement rules with be in operation, any unauthorised vehicles in the area will be clamped or towed.

SECURITY & STEWARDING

There will be stewards and security in the residential areas around Marlay Park.

In cooperation with and in support of An Garda Síochána.

The offsite stewarding team is provided by local GAA club Ballinteer St Johns along with a number of Offsite Zone Managers to deter anti-social behaviour.
